Laura, I am sorry to hear of your mom's death. I know this is a hard time for you. I want you to know DENNY and I will say prayers for you and your family during this time for strength for you all. I watched the picture video......you look a lot like your mama and I could see in many pictures that she had a sparkle in her eye just like you! I think you may have gotten your oneriness from her!!! You have many happy memories and those wonderful memories are what keep us feeling close to our parents when they are gone. I know you are a Christian and a believer so find comfort that you will see your mom and dad again when you take that trip to heaven! Just think of the glorious reunion she's having with your daddy now!! And one day ......
Prayers for you all... take care "smalls" !
Love Cindi

To the family of my best and dearest friend Lynnette.
We have been friends forever it seems. I never missed a time that I would come to Ankeny that I didn't plan a visit with her. I knew she knew who I was when I would call and talk...because she would always say Maynard its you. I remember two times during our high school years that she would be in the hospital getting adjusted. Once I dressed up as a gorilla and even was in the elevator with her parents. They did know I was visiting their daughter. We did have such fun and funny times. The second time I borrowed a football outfit and walked down the hall of the hospital with cleats on... you couldn't miss me. But, she and I got a good laugh out of it. Then in a talent show in school we put on a drama of St George and the Dragon....well we got 3rd place. Not bad for two friends. Then there were the many times she would spend the night with me and my mother worried about what t feed her. But she would say don't worry I know what I need and she and my mother worked it out. It was just this week, I thought about giving her a call. I didn't know she was sick. I wish there was something special I could do but I know I had that SPECIAL part of her in my life. I am thankful for all we had and shared One Friend to Another. My heart goes out to you and all the family. She was SOOOO special to me.

Laura,
So sorry for the loss of your mom. She was always so vibrant and full of life. Whenever I asked her how she was, her reply was "fantastic". She was always smiling.

So true!! Fantastic or "short" sometimes she'd say, maybe if you were looking a bit too serious and she wanted to lighten you up!
