Judith Dorsey Ray was born October 11, 1944 in Creston, Iowa the daughter of John Raulin Dorsey and Shirley Jean Krashel.
Judy graduated from Knoxville High School and went on to serve her country in the United States Navy for 10 years as a Journalist/ Public Relations. She performed various communication work including media presentations, photography, radio shows, advertising and marketing. Upon her honorable discharge from the Navy attended San Diego Community College and Memphis State University majoring in education and minoring in psychology.
She worked for Linden Home Care Medical systems where she sold oxygen and therapeutic medical equipment to medical facilities.
Judy had a big heart and in her later years she drove a school bus and fostered troubled teens. She had a love for dogs and hers were truly family to her!
Judy passed away at Iowa Veterans Home in Marshalltown, Iowa on February 19, 2024 at the age of 79.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Larry Dorsey where they are all now rejoicing in the arms of Jesus.
