Ann Grismore

Ann Grismore, 80, went home to be with Jesus on Tuesday, January 10, 2017 at Iowa Lutheran Hospital.

Born on September 21, 1936, in Des Moines, IA, she was the daughter of Irene Hunt. When she was eight years old she went to live with her sister, so her mother could work. Ann graduated from Corydon High School and later married the love of her life, Jack Grismore. She was a member of Saylorville Church for many years and enjoyed her friendships and church family.

The family will greet friends from 11:00 a.m - 1:00 p.m. Friday, January 13, 2017 at Saylorville Church (6429 NW 6th Dr, Des Moines, IA 50313). Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Friday at Saylorville Church.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children; Nancy (Martin) Kimball of Des Moines, IA; Diana (Tim) Stehman of Aurora, CO; Brad (Susie) Grismore of Indianola, IA; Julie Klootwyk (Steve Henry) of Ankeny, IA; many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In death she rejoins her husband, Jack Grismore, mother, Irene and her many siblings.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Saylorville Church.
